Hi y'all! So much for the getting warmer thing... We're back to quite chilly temps. But no snow or rain for quite a while. The farmers really need it so we're willing to put up with some inconvenience. Our apartment is on the high end of town and there's a noticable difference in temperature as you walk down into town. Strikes seem to be the thing this year. Within the last few weeks the bus and taxi drivers have gone on strike as well as the teachers, garbage men, and the government office that deals with official papers. Apart from the teachers we've been affected by all of them!
We traveled to Spain last week for a bit of refreshing and encouragement - Barnabas style. Fortunately we found out about the strikes early enough to change our travel plans so we had a pleasant trip. We enjoyed the break and are now almost ready to apply for residency in Morocco which means we will be able to discontinue our trips to Spain every 3 months.
We've enjoyed getting out to visit some friends this month. Matthew enjoyed the part after lunch when our stomachs were full of cous cous and our hostess suggested we take a nap. :)
I continue to do most of our shopping at the weekly outdoor market. It's fun seeing what's available each week and searching for the best produce at the best prices.
