Back in the US

It's been a while! We arrived safely in America a few weeks ago. It was a long trip as always but we all did pretty well. We spent a few days with my brother in Minneapolis.


And then we headed to Eau Claire and met up with the rest of my family.

Now we're down in Florida visiting the Cowaps. Matthew's enjoyed a few bike rides with his dad.

In other news... I'm still finding grocery stores overwhelming and loving how nice and clean the public bathrooms are. We're also enjoying heated houses and clothes dryers.

This is one of Zach's favorite toys - his Auntie Tanya picked it out! The bear's tummy lights up and he talks and sings. Zach rolled over for the first time this week!





Riding on my back almost always puts him to sleep! It's great for when we're going to do a lot of walking or when I need to get housework done.

It DOES snow in Morocco! This was last week.


Matthew's birthday was Tuesday. We had a special going away/birthday party.

There was a special time at the service this morning to commission us as we prepare for what God has for us next in Morocco. We also took the opportunity to publicly dedicate Zachariah to the Lord. We're thankful for the support of our extended "family" here and appreciated this special time with them.

We traveled to London last weekend to visit some of Matthew's family. Zach was excited to meet them all. :)

Back in Morocco the cold weather continues. We struggle to get enough sunshine to dry laundry and I'm typing with numb fingers! We do appreciate our wood stove in the evenings and we look forward to heated houses in the US soon. :)

We've forgotten what our baby's head and hands look like - without central heating our house is quite cold unless we have a fire.
