More in May

At the beginning of May we went to stay in a cabin in the North of Wisconsin with Tasha's family. We had a good time up there!

The cabin was an a beautiful lake. Too bad it was too cold for swimming!

An afternoon walk in the country-side.

Are you sure that's the way the story goes, Uncle Eli? I'm sure that Daddy reads it differently.

It was fun being at the cabin but I sure am glad to be home!

I love my daddy!

I'm not so sure about this swing thing, though, Daddy.

Some of Tasha's family came over to the house on Memorial Day weekend. We had a potluck and played softball.

It's nice to see you again Grama!

Matthew playing softball.

Looks like he had an audience!

Looks like watching softball is as tiring as playing!

I want to play the guitar just like Daddy when I grow up!

Traveling

We went to Minnesota over the weekend to see more of Tasha's family. I (Matthew) really enjoyed getting to know them better but spending 16 hours in the car over 3 days was exhausting for all of us! Zach also really enjoyed getting to meet some cousins of his who are about the same age.

If only Zach had spent the whole trip sleeping like this. If only I could have spent the whole trip sleeping like this....

Tasha with her mother and aunt.

Did you really have to tie me into this chair?

Cousins are the best! (Even if we aren't exactly sure how we're related)

Yum! I love mushy bananas!

Laughter and Jumping

The only good toy is a toy covered in drool. They taste better that way!

Naughty toy, why won't you get in my mouth? Don't you know that's where you're supposed to go?

Be my friend, Buddy, I like you!

I won't!

I'm not so sure about girls but I always like to make a friend.

Now, what is this thing? Am I supposed to like it?

Look ma, no hands!

This is the best toy ever! Thanks, Grama!

In Wisconsin

Well, we're in Wisconsin now and getting used to the cold, again. Zach is also moving onto bigger and better things, like solid food....

Oh no! What is this?!?!?!?!?

How could you give me something so awful?

Do you really think I'm NOT going to get out from under this laundry basket?

Fun times with Great-Gramma!

St Augustine

Recently we were able to go to St Augustine, the oldest town in America, for a few days of rest and relaxation!

What's in that lump, ma'am?

It's a baby!

I want to hold the camera!

I guess if I can't get the camera, this foot will have to do. *sigh*

YUM! I like maple syrup.
