New Apartment

Thought we'd share a few pictures of our new apartment. We're enjoying the neighborhood so far. It's a lot more central than our old one and people seem friendly. We're enjoying being able to just run to the store for something instead of feeling like we need to plan an excursion.

Here's our formal/guest salon. Matthew did an amazing job at getting the TV antanae hooked up on the roof so now we get 2 channels. There's a cooking show that I love 'cause it's in Moroccan Arabic and I can understand most of it. We're also looking forward to watching the special Ramadan show which is one of the few other things in Moroccan Arabic.

Here's our kitchen - smaller than our last one but everything fits...

And our bedroom...

And this is just a bit of what was involved to get us hot water. It took a plumber and his assistant 7 hours to remove the fixtures and hot water heater from our old apartment and install them in the new. There's new white pipe all over and although it may not look pretty, it works well.

One other exciting update and an answer to prayer... there's a new computer on the way for me! It should arrive in mid October.

Hey Sis, glad to see you are all settled into your new place and that everything finally worked out. And I'm also glad to hear you are getting a computer. Awesome news!! I caught up on all your blogs today and I was definitely shocked to see your wedding pictures. You almost looked unrecognizable with all that makeup on! WOW. I am speechless :) And that was funny about the women trying to make you look fatter...definitely different here in America. I can't wait to see the video of the whole wedding!! Love you!
